FAQ

Could I sell on my own and get a better price?

Selling on your own is a long process that wastes time and money. For example, being in your possession, the car may break down, and the amount of repair sometimes reaches the cost of the car itself. Why take risks and waste your nerves, if you can get an adequate price for 1 hour with us?

Could I wait a little and sell at a higher price?

The situation in the used car market could change even in a couple of weeks. While you wait, other sellers may offer better deals and your chances of selling your car will decrease. Therefore, waiting for a super-profitable offer, you are missing out on real money that you can get right away.

Could I get a better price at the dealership of my car brand?

You could get a better price at the dealership only if you buy a new car there. Also, your car must have very low mileage, no defects and be no older than 5 years. For cars older than 5 years, our price will always be higher. Send us a request and see for yourself!

Do I have to book an assessment in advance?

You do not need to book an appointment in advance for the assessment. Just give us a call and our specialist will come to you and examine your car.

How are cars assessed?

Contact us by phone or send a proposal via our website. Then we will offer you a preliminary quote, after which you can come to us for appraisal or invite our appraiser to your place. The assessment is free and takes no more than 15 minutes.

What documents shall be submitted for the sale of a car and what papers are drawn up on the spot?

You shall provide a technical passport and a document proving your identity. Sales agreements are drawn up on the spot.

Can I sell a car that is not registered in my name?

Yes, but in this case, you shall bring a power of attorney signed by the owner, or a correctly completed sales agreement.

How is the sale of a car that has not yet been purchased from leasing or installment carried out?

If your car is leased or under an installment plan, then be sure to specify this during the assessment. We will assess your car, and if you are satisfied with the quote, our employee will go with you to the bank or company and purchase the car. We will pay the price difference in cash or by transfer.

What happens to cars after sale?

We buy most of the vehicles for resale purposes. Vehicles that are not economically viable to be repaired or restored go to parts or scrap.

How to deregister a car?

In order to deregister a car after selling it to us, you shall make a transfer of ownership. To do this, fill out an application that you can find HERE, take a photo or scan the sales agreement, sign it digitally and send it to the Road Administration by e-mail info@mnt.ee.

A transfer of ownership can also be done at any the Road Administration office on the spot.
